The ‘Gilets Jaunes’: Who are they and what do they want?

Every Saturday for over 70 weeks, starting on 17th November 2018, the ‘Gilets Jaunes’ (yellow jackets) have protested on the streets of French cities in disapproval of the French government. Although Lockdown temporarily halted these violent protests, the yellow jackets have taken to the French streets once more.
